I have been asked by some parents how they can support their children’s learning from home. I have provided some suggestions that might be useful.

-When your child brings homework, please take the time to sit with them and show interest in their work. This gives your child the feeling that their work is important and meaningful.

-Have children do their homework early in the afternoon instead of the last thing at night.

-Encourage your child to read and write at home.

-Read with your child, this is important bonding time.

- Provide a quiet area where children can study without distractions.

Me han preguntado varios padres de familia como pueden ayudar a sus hijos aprender en casa. Me he permitido poner algunas sugerencias que le puedan ayudar.

- Cuando su hijo lleva tarea a la casa, tomen el tiempo para revisarla y demuestren interés en su trabajo.

-Asegúrense que sus hijos empiecen la tarea temprano y no la dejen para en la noche.

-Motiven siempre a su hijo/a que lea y escriba en casa.

-Leer con sus hijos es muy importante, esto puede ser parte de un tiempo muy especial.

-El lugar ideal para estudiar en casa es un lugar sin distracciones.
