Welcome to your final semester of high school English. This journey will travel through different genres and themes of world literature, beginning with a study of Native American Literature where different worldview and lifeways will be the focus. Your studies in this unit will be enhanced through research and the use of technology once again. Next this journey will turn toward the study of the epic, in excerpted form; following that will be a brief unit on 19th century Realism with the study of A Doll's House. Another unit will turn to a short play by Shakespeare, The Tempest, said to have been the last play Shakespeare wrote. The last unit will look at The Stranger by Albert A vast amount of resources have been provided for you below to help you in your studies this semester; while some relate to studies of earlier World Literature classes, they remain on this page in the off chance that the curriculum will turn to them again.
