About us
Mississippi Sarbojonin Durga Puja Samiti - a non-profit Bengali Hindu Cultural Society of Mississippi - started to organize the Durga Puja in Mississippi from 2008. We started with lots of odds and question marks as greater Jackson area has only a few member families. But, with the support from families across the state of Mississippi, and with the blessings of Goddess Durga, we are on 11th year. Also, we registered our organization as a non-profit cultural organization and conducted our first election on 2012 to form an elected body:Â
