How to access your school Google account:
Username: First 4 letters of last name + last 5 of student number + @eduhsd.k12.ca.us
Password: Last 4 digits of the permanent ID number.
Example:
John Smith
Student Number: 10216
Perm ID: 350018304
Username: smit10216@eduhsd.k12.ca.us
Password: 8304
International Keyboard on Chromebooks
To change to the International Keyboard (So you can make accents):
1. Click the bottom right corner of the screen.
2. The menu should pop up. Click the settings button
3.Scroll to the bottom and click "Advanced"
4. Scroll down to language settings and click.
5.Chose "US International Keyboard" and click ok.
6.Close all the windows.
7. Click Alt + shift to change to the Intl. keyboard.
Click on US on the bottom right and change to US International (alt shift works as well). Then use the right alt key and the letter or the French instructions to type the accents.
In US International:
o The ` key (left of the 1) plus the letter will make an accent grave, e.g è, ù, à.
o The ‘ key (left of the enter key) plus the letter will make an accute accent, e.g. é,
Right alt plus comma, makes a cédille.
o The ^ key (Shift-6) plus a letter will make a circonflex, e.g. û, ê.
o The ” key plus a letter will make a tréma/umlaut, e.g. ü, ö.
