Class Announcements:

• • • During this pandemic, please take care of yourself and others by staying at home and practicing social distancing.

• • Make-up Tests/Quizzes:

Advanced Freshman Biology: If you are absent on the day of the quiz/exam, you have a week to make-up the quiz/exam. If you were present but did not take the quiz/exam due to multiple days of absences, you have as many days as you were absent to make up the exam. For instance, you returned from a 3-day absence on the day of a unit test, you have three days to make-up the unit test.

IB Biology HL 1: If you are absent on the day of the quiz/exam, you are expected to make up the quiz/exam on the day of your return. If you were absent on the day of the quiz/exam due to multiple days of absences, you have as many days as you were absent to make up the quiz/exam.

*If students cannot meet their deadline, students are required to set up an alternative option with the teacher to make/retake a missed quiz/exam before the appointed deadline time. If the teacher has not been informed before the allotted time, the deadline for retakes/make-ups has been passed, and the student will receive a zero.

• Adobe Acrobat Reader: Parents/students, I have included a link on the calendar page if you need to download Adobe Acrobat Reader. This is what your computer needs to open/download the files attached to the calendar.

• No-name Papers:

Please, remember it is your responsibility to claim a no-named paper and prove to me that it is actually yours. This must be done in the same class period that the papers were returned to the class.
