“Fear not math, fear God.”

YAN’s LAWS of Mathematics Writing and Editing:

1. When you are full swing in your book writing, your math editor will resign.

2. A poor math editor worries about wrong answers; a good editor worries about wrong questions.

Corollary: A poor math editor fails to spot wrong answers;

                a poor math writer fails to spot good questions.

Both good and bad math editors are useful:

a good one enriches the writer by suggesting alternative solutions and creative ideas;

a bad one provides interesting journals’ ideas through his mistakes and errors.
