Coach Stolzer graduated from Platteview High School where he lettered in basketball his junior and senior season.

College brought no athletic scholarships and this brought Stolzer into coaching and his true passion of teaching the game.

Stolzer brings a strong passion of the game to Burwell, they play a fast paced tempo that highlights players strengths and puts them in positions to be successful.

Coach Birch came back to the Longhorn staff in 2018/2019 after previously helping now girls coach Garrett Mann Back in the Mid 2000's. Coach Birch brings previous head coach experience as a past head coach of the Burwell Girls and the Douglas girls basketball teams.

Coach Birch is a great addition to our staff and is someone who connects well with young people and has a strong passion for the game. His experience is something that is extremely helpful.

Coach Birch played and graduated from Burwell and bleeds Longhorn Purple.
