I am available nearly every day to provide extra help β all you need to do is ask! π
However please note: I will not help you scramble to raise your grades at the end of the marking period. Be sure to seek extra help as often as necessary throughout the entire year, particularly before and after quizzes and tests. There are no quick fixes! Ask for help as soon as issues arise.
The way to improve your math grade is to
1) complete your assignments
2) practice for quizzes and tests
3) to make corrections
4) ask for extra help
Obviously, you need to take these actions throughout the marking period. There are no quick fixes that will suddenly improve your grade at the very end.
Corrections & Improving Your Math Grade
Corrections are not only the best way to bring up your math grade, they also are a critical learning tool. You may correct/retest any graded material (except projects/long-term assignments) within one week. I average the original with the new grade, and the maximum corrected score is 90%.
Corrections must be on a corrections form, copies of which are available in the classroom and in Google Classroom and must be signed by a parent. You can improve your score on unit and cumulative tests by first correcting the original assessment and then taking a retest. There are no exceptions to any part of this policy.
