Hello, thanks so much for stopping by and getting to know a little bit more about me! I believe fostering relationships and connections with my students is the most crucial element of educating your child. My goal is for your child to feel a community of respect, care, and belonging the minute they walk in my door.
Education: I received my Bachelors Degree in the Special Education program at Illinois State University as a Learning Behavior Specialist . Go Redbirds! During that time I was lucky enough to have an amazing variety of teaching experiences within the Northwest Suburbs, including NSSEO. I also have my Masters Degree in Education (M.Ed) in specialized endorsements in ESL and Special Education. I also have American Sign Language 101 in my education. I also completed through Illinois State University a post-master's degree coursework and received my Director of Special Education endorsement.
Experience: The 2025-2025 school year will be my 15th year teaching full time in Special Education, and 13 years in District 57. Being a District 57 alum, it feels great to be back in a District that influenced me to become an educator because of the great role models District 57 teachers provide.
