About Mrs. Mills

Mrs. Mills and her husband have four children and have lived in Minnesota for 24 years after moving from Michigan. Michelle has established a solid foundation of educational studies having earned a Certificate in Catechetical Education from the Archdiocese of Detroit, a BS in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Crown College in Waconia, Minnesota, a Master's in Classical Education at Eagle Ridge Academy and a Master's in Educational Instruction from the University of Wisconsin Superior and she is trained as a tutor using the Barton Spelling and Phonics System, influenced by Orton-Gillingham Systematic Phonics Program. Michelle has been a Kindergarten teacher at Eagle Ridge Academy for the past nine years and served on the board of Eagle Ridge Academy for two years. In addition to her involvement in education, Michelle and her husband Tom enjoy hiking, biking and spending time with their family which includes eight grandchildren.
