Getting to Know Mrs. Leskosky!!

Hello All!

My name is Mrs. Leskosky, but you can call me Mrs. L. This is my 13th year teaching at William Allen High School, and I'm so happy to be a part of Canary Nation! Some of you may know me as Miss Hess, or as "Coach's Wife" if you've seen me around the baseball diamond. I have been married for ten years and currently live with my husband, our two boys, Parker (6 yo) and Dalton (4 yo) , and my 2 puppy dogs, Scrappy Doo and Daphne, in Schnecksville. I also teach tap, jazz, ballet, and modern at the Patricia Bostick Dance Center in Kuhnsville.

I have my M. Ed. with a specialization in Secondary Science Education from Cedar Crest College, as well as a B.S. in Biology and Dance. I spent some time as a research scientist for the National Institute of Health before deciding my future career was in education. I then pursued a job as a curriculum writer and teacher at the Davinci Science Center, located in Allentown. I have been accredited by the College Board as a certified AP Biology teacher, and I'm the head science teacher at Allen.
