Meet Your Teacher

Hello I am so glad to be entering my 20th year at Westhill High School as well as my 25th year of teaching. I am originally from West Virginia and taught for 5 years in my home town of Montcalm. I moved to Fairfield County 20 years ago and I live in Stamford.

My family is very important to me and I enjoy spending time with them. My husband is Bill Kurtz who also works at WHS in the Physical Education department. I have two step daughters who are 27 and 23 years old and a 14 year old daughter who also attends WHS. I like to read, binge watch shows, be with my dog (Toby), and travel to WV to see my family.
