Automotive Junior English

This 11th grade course in the college preparatory program is designed to emphasize American values through a study of American literature including practice for a variety of composition styles, along with preparing students specifically for communication, reading, and writing in the mechanical work force. This course will also include an exercise in research analysis using standard MLA format, as well as an ongoing study of rhetorical reading and writing. Students will have the opportunity to practice a variety of writing styles and partake in public speaking exercises. Throughout the entire year Common Core Standards for education will be addressed and met.
