The Philosophy of "to be or not to be a great teacher"

More than a teacher, I will try to become your child's best friend, mentor and counselor. I believe in the power of knowledge, of practice and effort that forges the best thinkers and doers of their time. We live in the land of opportunity where the resources for change are available all around us, and the time has come where it is no longer about the teacher. I want to be able to create a community in our classroom where the teacher can have influence in the students outside the classroom, where the parents are involved as much as possible and know that their child is learning.

Learning is not a word that needs to imply work, learning has to provoke excitement and hunger to do more, see that is the key, to have an atmosphere where the students ask the questions, where the students do the research and question their research, and have the ability for students, parents and teachers can create that community inside and outside the classroom.

I need to get this mindset into everyone, everyone must see the picture were the students become independent thinkers, teachers mold themselves to become create the lesson and adapt to the classroom and parents become scholars, parents are key to help accomplish this idea because before the teacher comes in to scene, the foundation is lain by them from the beginning.

Remember, always start from the beginning.
