You are an armature photography student, currently studying and practicing in hopes of one day becoming a professional photographer! Unfortunately for you, because of recent budget cuts, the district is considering to eliminate the photography program because they do not see the value of it. District leaders argue that students with iPhones and Instagram Accounts can teach themselves how to take professional-looking photographs.

As someone who is passionate about photography, you respectfully disagree. You have decided to submit a presentation to the school board in defense of the program! You must justify photography as an art by demonstrating your own photographic work, giving a real-world example of a notable photographer, and creating an artist statement.
