Even during the early development photography, photographers struggled to be recognized by the art world. Many artists considered image capturing to be much simpler than painting or drawing or any other "credible" art form.
Today, photographers face similar criticism. With the widespread development of digital cameras and social networking, everyone was the ability to become a photographer. The process of creating photography has been lost, and as a result, much of society has reevaluated the value of photography within the art community.
In this project, students will capture images using film photography and the process of manually developing photographs. And consequently, students will legitimize and defend the art of photography.
