Human Trafficking is considered a modern form of slavery.  I used to teach modern day slavery and would cover human trafficking and read a book with my students called Sold that was about a young girl in Nepal, which is where this news story takes place.  It is a short book and if you would like to read it let me know, I have copies of it.
