About Me

Hi, my name is Francisco Garcia I am 31 years old and this will be my 9th year at Foothill High School. I graduated from The University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Integrative Biology in 2012. While a student at Cal, I worked as a student athletic trainer for the Cal football team. I also worked in a cancer research lab at the UCSF medical center doing drug trials on drug resistant forms of Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia. If you or your child have an interest in one of those topics please feel free to ask me about my experiences. After Graduating from Berkeley I attended Saint Mary's College to receive my teaching credential. I teach Biology and Zoology and coach JV football and baseball at Foothill. I have 2 wonderful daughters, a seven year old named Melody and a three year old named Nora. I grew up in Fairfield, CA and graduated from Angelo Rodriguez High School in 2008.
