About Me

This is my 11th year teaching Math at Palmyra Middle School.  I love to teach, but I also enjoy doing many other things in my free time.  Some things include working on math problems, adding fractions for fun, decimal research- finding the point, and counting to infinity.  Ok, on a serious note...  I love to spend time with my family and friends.  I love sports- watching and playing them.  My favorites would have to be soccer, football, basketball, tennis, and volleyball.  I'm a big fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia Eagles, and Hershey Bears.

I grew up in Palmyra, and lived here my whole life.  After graduating from Palmyra in 2005, I went on to college at Millersville University.  I graduated from Millersville in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Certificate in Middle Level Mathematics.  In the Fall of 2009, I received the position for 6th grade Math at Palmyra, taking the spot of Mrs. Berman due to retirement- the math teacher that I had when I was in 6th grade!  In 2011, I moved up to take the 7th grade math position for Mrs. Deaven, another teacher that I had myself!
