Hello everyone, and welcome back to school!

I look forward to working with, and (hopefully) eventually meeting, you all this school year.

This is an unprecedented time to say the least and the start to this school year is right in line with this pattern. I, like you all, am ready to start the year, but am unsure what to expect. However, I do know that we will get through this and succeed if we put our minds to it!

Enough with the virtual small talk (writing/reading). Here is the schedule for the start of this year:

Remote Learning Schedule: 2020-2021

Here are some Important things to know:

• Attendance, participation and completion of assignments are mandatory. We are back in school, even though we are not physically at the school site.

• Classes will consist of:

  • • • Instruction (where I teach the material)

      • HW Questions and Answers (where I help with the material)

      • Group and/or Individual work (where you work on mastering the material)

• At the beginning of each class I will take attendance and review the day's expectations and learning objectives by discussing the Agenda.

• I will be presenting a consolidated lesson, mostly on example problems of key concepts and vocabulary. These short lessons are meant to work together with Edpuzzle videos, Quizizz, Kahoot!, and textbook problems in a multifaceted approach to online learning.

** I will be recording these sessions and posting them on our Youtube channels. I will also be recording specific homework problems, as needed or requested, and posting them there as well. **

• Assignments are updated on the assignment sheet.

I will also be posting assignments on your Google Classroom. Anything that is not on the Classroom is not an assignment and is not due.

If you cannot meet these deadlines please contact me before the due date and I will work to accommodate you and assist you however possible.

• If you need a Chromebook, contact me and I can speak with school administration to help you.

Overall, this is a difficult and unique experience for us all. So I will be flexible and understanding of all your circumstances. Just talk to me!
