Bio

My adventure with economics started in 2009 when I finished my bachelor studies at Poznan University of Economics (PUE, Poland). At that time I cooperated with prof. Krzysztof Malaga for the Departments of Mathematical Economics, in incorporating financial markets into a neo-Schumpeterian growth model.

In 2012, I arrived in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) to start full-time Research Master studies in Economics at Economics School of Louvain. One year later I graduated with a MSc diploma with the highest honors (summa cum laude), and I joined the IRES, and the research team of prof. Frédéric Docquier.

I formally started my doctoral studies in September 2013, and after three years I defended my PhD thesis (composed of three chapters, all published). The title of my dissertation was: Migration, Human Capital and Growth in a Globalized Economy, written under the supervision of prof. Frédéric Docquier.

From September 2016 till August 2018 I held a postdoc position at CREA, University of Luxembourg. My main responsibilities ware related to research, but I also have an opportunity to deliver an undergraduate course: Macroeconomics III.

In September 2018 I joined the Labor Market Department at Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER).
