DIY Blasters

Here you can find instructions (and other lesser documentation) for blasters that MostlyHarmlessArms creators RyanMcNumbers and KaneTheMediocre have built.

Recent or recently updated (relatively):

HAMP (singled)

The simplest blaster is surprisingly effective.

Hoppered HAMP

A simple upgrade makes the HAMP semi-auto.

The hopper is very basic in this version, modern china darts will need something more sophisticated.

Aabow (Actually A Bow)

Bow powered pneumatic blaster.

Some pictures are broken, but nonetheless it's the best guide.

Extension Spring/Latex Tubing Blaster

(Instruction pictures broken)  This is a fantastic bullpup pump action blaster.

PullSCRT

(instruction pictures broken)  This is basically a 3d printing+PVC plusbow replacement.

BullPAC 3

Challenging 3d printed and machined parts design, but the resulting blaster is worth it.

+Blow

An old 3d printed N-strike magazine system, attached to a blowgun.

Not the best way to do a magwell, but it looks sort of cool.

Most of the links below are very old and may not directly apply to modern nerf darts.

ALL of these have broken pictures.

Instructions of Obselete Cheese:

Most of the links below are very old and may not directly apply to modern nerf darts.

ALL of these have broken pictures.

ESLT (Non 3D Printed Version)

ESLT 1.0

ESLT 1.5

The most current ESLT link is above under Not Obselete Stuff.

Original Aabow

A better, newer, less broken version exists, but this was the original

Pump Action Crossbow

Broken pictures, but a very cool design.  The non bullpup precursor to the BullPAC.

The size of these is often compared to a small tree.

BullPAC

old half-instructions for old version. See BullPAC 3 for current version.

Rainbowpump

Broken pictures, but a very cool design. Hard to build, hard to work on, but very swag.

Bolt Action Tagger Shotgun (HAMP)

Tagger darts were the best ammo around in ye olde nerf.  This was a crude magazine system on a HAMP.

Vacuum Loading Tagger Shotgun

Obsolete version of the singled HAMP.

+Blow

An old 3d printed N-strike magazine system, attached to a blowgun.

Not the best way to do a magwell, but it looks sort of cool.

Crap instructions or descriptions of blasters that we've buil (and are obselete cheese)t:

Auto-Loading Tagger Blaster

The dankest cheese, like, ever, but complicated and I never did instructions.

Video:

Autobow

Cool, but they tend to break and I never fixed the design, so I never did instructions.

Video:

Bullpump

Described a whole bunch of early bullpup and catch experiments.

These designs sort of led to the double lever catch used in the bullPACs and ESLTs

PumpBow

This is a pump action plusbow with remarkably poor ergonomics.

If you want to do something like this, give it a legit pump grip.

SuperRainbowPump

An effort to make rainbowpumps more compact backfires.  Cool but not a good idea.

Semi-Auto Shotgun HAMP

What it says.  Shoot 4-6 of darts with EACH pump stroke.

BullPAC

old half-instructions for old version. See BullPAC 3 for current version.
