Statement of Educational Purpose and Goals

Policy

In providing quality post-compulsory training and education, Morrinsville Training Centre will:

• Aim is to equip learners with skills, knowledge, motivation & qualifications to better face life & employment.

• Pursue excellence in all educational programmes and activities

• Provide a caring environment that is compatible with our underlying Christian philosophy

• Reflect the dual cultural heritage of the partners of the Treaty of Waitangi in policy and practice

• Continually monitor effectiveness in meeting these purposes and goals against the changing needs of students, society and the workplace as well as meeting & exceeding requirements of regulatory bodies & contractual agreements.

Governance Statement

Governing members of Morrinsville Training Centre are RM Goodwin and GE Goodwin and meet ‘fit and proper person’ criteria, and have no interests in any other PTE's, immigration services or other conflicts of interest. All programmes are 'Fee Free' and are therefore exempt from having a Student fee protection trust fund. Morrinsville Training Centre does not engage in international education.
