Scouts

Scouts typical age range is 10 ½ - 14 year olds. A young person may join at 10 years and remain until 15 years

At scout age the group tends start looking at more adventurous activities with hikes and camps/bivi's more frequest. We also have strong ties with North Cotswold Canoe club so many of our members get the opportunity to try this as well.

We came 33rd out of 60 teams at Operation Bald Eagle. Run between Glos and Hereford Scouts, over 250 take part. In the new year 6 of our senior Scouts will be leaving to join Explorers. We will be running a chilly Bivi in November as a send-off. Although we will be losing half our Troop, it will give our younger ones the opportunity to take charge of activities and take on leadership roles.

Operation Bald Eagle 2016
