In 1984, the residents of Moorhead Manor took a giant leap by purchasing the mobile home park from it's owner. The residents formed a cooperative association. The cooperative contains 154 lots (shares). The sale, lease or transfer of shares is restricted or controlled. The cooperative is being sold in fee simple interests. Residents are 55+ years of age, no rentals, no RV's, and pets are not allowed in this gated community. Water, sewer, trash/recycling pickup 2X per week, lawn care, pool care, buildings care, pest control, wireless internet, and the maintenance of a healthy reserve fund are all included in the monthly fee, which is currently 190 dollars. The residents are currently considering the expansion and upgrading of additional amenities.  The residents have shown great vision by planning financially for future renovations and upgrades. The result of this bold vision of past and present residents is a beautiful, clean, and well maintained gated community with a secure future. Current home/share prices range from 60K's to the 190K's.  'Units' do become available, from time to time. The home and share are sold as a package.
