Gigi

Gigi Decker has been playing piano since 1976, and accompanying soloists and ensembles since 1981.  Her favorite pieces to play are usually jazz or gospel style, especially if someone has taken a classical song and added a jazz or gospel flair to it!

She met Irene in 1994, when their oldest boys were still small enough to be enrolled in ECFE classes together.  Upon hearing Irene's lovely voice, she decided she needed to find a way to accompany her....and Moms Who Cook was born!

No piano? No problem! As long as there is electricity available, a nice electronic keyboard (that can sound like a piano, harp, guitar, entire orchestra, brass ensemble, etc.) can be brought to your event to provide music.

Gigi also has a musical family; her husband is a fantastic drummer, and all of her children (3, not including the dog) play musical instruments of some sort.  Gigi is the proud owner of her own business, www.asensitivetouch.com, which specializes in medically oriented massage therapy.  Gigi can be reached on her cell/business line at 651-983-6954.

PRICES (Note: may be different from Irene's solo prices)

Dinner music: $100/hour

Professional Accompaniment (for contests, recitals, etc.): $50/event + $25/half-hour rehearsal

Weddings (see below)

Funerals: $100/hour of music & hymns

Extra fee if electronic keyboard needed: $50 (to help cover the cost of the massage I will need after carrying it!!)

Weddings are trickier because they can involve several levels of time commitment.....

BASIC WEDDING $100

Includes just the wedding service (1 to 2 processional tunes, 1 to 2 hymns, 1 recessional)

STANDARD WEDDING $125

Includes the wedding service (1 to 2 processional tunes, 1 to 2 hymns, 1 recessional), 15 minutes of additional pre-service music, and the wedding rehearsal

FULL WEDDING $150

Includes the wedding service (1 to 2 processional tunes, 1 to 2 hymns, 1 recessional), 30 minutes of additional pre-service music, the wedding rehearsal, and one rehearsal with a soloist/extra musician

DELUXE WEDDING $250

Includes the wedding service (1 to 2 processional tunes, 1 to 2 hymns, 1 recessional), 30 minutes of additional pre-service music, the wedding rehearsal, one rehearsal with a soloist/extra musician, 20 minutes of receiving line music after the recessional, and up to 1 hour of dinner music during the reception
