What is a Montessori Education?
Montessori classrooms provide a prepared environment where children are free to respond to their natural tendency to work. The Children's innate passion for learning is encouraged by giving them opportunities to engage in spontaneous, purposeful activities with the guidance of a trained adult. Through their work, the children develop concentration and joyful self-discipline. Within a framework of order, the children progress at their own pace and rhythm, according to their individual capabilities.
The Benefits of a Montessori Early Childhood Education
- The Montessori method is a model which serves the needs of children of all levels of mental and physical ability as they live and learn in a natural mixed age group. The mixed age group mirrors the society they will live in as adults.

1. Practical Life
Practical life materials enable children to enjoy and practice adult behaviors such as personal care, dressing, and housekeeping.
2. Sensorial
Sensorial materials help refine senses of smell, touch, taste, sight and hearing. Distinct sensorial impressions help children categorize, label and understand their experiences.
3.Language and Math
Academic materials are a progression from the concrete nature of sensory exploration to the more abstract concepts of language, writing, math and science.
4. Science, Culture, and Art
Cultural and artistic materials deal with self-expression and the communication of ideas.
