About Me

I am Senior Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Software Engineering at the Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia. I am a member of Swinburne University Centre for Computing and Engineering Software Systems (SUCCESS). I am also a member of multiple ARC linkage and discovery projects lead by Prof. John Grundy. I have been in academic research and teaching since 2003. My teaching experience in almost all aspects of software engineering including computer science theory and fundamentals, programming, project management, software engineering, security, and distributed systems. My research interests include automated software engineering, cloud computing and big data, security engineering and management, and modelling and visualization. I did work in industry for more than 7 years. I have deep experience in software engineering practices, SDLCs and processes. I have experience in developing, designing and managing large scale applications mainly ERP and CRM systems. Currently I am working in research projects with Thales Australia. 

Work Experience 

I received my Bachelor of Science degree (Excellent with honor degree) in Computer Science from Ain Shams University, Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences - Egypt, 2003. I received my Master of Science degree (Research-Based) in Computer Science from Ain Shams University, Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences - Egypt, 2009. I received my PhD degree in Software Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology in 2014.
