Teaching

In addition to the courses below I supervise undergraduate and MSc dissertations and am partial supervisor for a PhD student.

Courses taught at the University of Edinburgh:

  • Course organiser and seminar leader for an MSc seminar in Philosophy of Cognitive Science (CogLab).
  • Course organiser and lecturer for a Senior Honours class (4th year undergraduate) in Classical Chinese Philosophy.
  • Co-course organiser and seminar leader (with Emma Gordon) for MSc seminars in Advanced Topics in Epistemology.
  • TA for online MSc seminars in Advanced Topics in Mind and Cognition and Epistemology.

Courses taught at the University of Tübingen:

  • A Proseminar (for early and mid-undergraduate students) on Perception and the body.
  • A Hauptseminar (for senior bachelors and masters students) on Embodiment, Emotion, and Experience. This was an interdisciplinary course for students (predominantly) from Philosophy, Cognitive Science, and the Max Planck Graduate Training Centre of Neuroscience.
  • A 2 day seminar on the Philosophy of Neuroscience for masters students from the Max Planck Graduate Training Centre of Neuroscience, at the Neuroschool retreat (June 2016). This course was on the Philosophy and Neuroscience of Gut Feelings.
