Render every Nth Frame

Set the write node,Click render and when it ask for frame range set that like below format

   startframe-endframe/inc

for example 1001-1200/10 will render every 10th frame


Projections with STmaps WIP

#Camera projection is a really cool trick for lot of stuffs..

Usually we will project the image directly on the geometry with projection camera and then

we will do capture the scene with our render camera

With this tecnique the idea is to project a rest uv/st map on to the geometry and recapture it with the render camera

and then use that recaptured map to distort the plate

****THE Advantage

    - competitively faster then the normal projections

    - even more faster if the uv is rendered out to disk before passing it to distort.

    - you can tweak you projected frame (DMP , or a clean plate for perp) after the scanline render

      which is very convenient and fast. for example in normal projection setup if you need to grade up you projection it need to recalculate in 3d for each time u are moving the slider , but with stmap trick you are out of 3d with the projection frame.. so its really fast to move or grade or do whatever with you proj frame.

*****Dis-advantage

    -will cause problem on the edges of the map, i couldnt figure out to correct the edges,

if this is solved then this will the best method for projections


Render bunch of random images in a sequence:

#Read All images

#Select all and make a switch node so that all of them will be connected to the switch

#Right click the witch knob of switch node and choose edit expression

#Type "frame" so that in each frame it reads the corresponding inputs of  the switch node

#Then as usually write out using write node

you can also use "append clip" node to do the same without expressions!
