Going Mobile

This Who concept album one is all about transport. Planes, Trains and Automobiles - told through the music of the Who.

Lots of good tunes here - so many of The Who's best songs seem to be about travelling. Probably not surprising, as they spent so much of their time touring.

Usual stuff: 22 songs in 3 blocks of music, add them together to make a CD.

The perfect accompaniment for a long journey.

Here's the tracklist:

I resisted the urge to use Roger's version of "The Wheels on the Bus".

As you can see, I couldn't decide between the Studio and Live version of Magic Bus. In the end, I had to choose both.

This has really made me appreciate that "Flying Boy" song. Such a simple but catchy song.

He can fly through the air, oh yes he can.

The artwork uses the lovely Who VW Bus, which was recently auctioned off to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
