Family

He is of dual Lebanese and French nationalities. He was born on 24 September 1983 in Baabda (Lebanon) and grew up mostly in Paris (France) speaking fluent English, French and Arabic. He also speaks Spanish. His parents are Najib Fayad and Denise Abela. 

Early childhood, primary and secondary education

His early schooling was at Collège Notre-Dame de Jamhour (Society of Jesus Jesuits) in Lebanon; and then, at Lycée Blomet - École Normale Catholique ENC (CEP-Ignatien, originally Centre d’Études Pédagogiques CEP founded by Jesuits) in France. 

Undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education

He holds:

- a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Université Panthéon-Assas Paris II (associated to Sorbonne Universités SU); 

- a Master of Arts in Diplomacy from École Diplomatique Internationale de Paris EDIP (later merged into école des Hautes Études Internationales et Politiques HEIP and Centre d’Études Diplomatiques et Stratégiques CEDS; both members of Institut des hautes études économiques et commerciales INSEEC U) organized with association Académie internationale de Géopolitique and association Centre de Politique Internationale de la Sorbonne CPIS, both affiliated to Université Panthéon-Sorbonne Paris I (Hautes études Sorbonne arts et métiers Université HeSam Université);

Professional experience

He started his career as Financial Analyst at the MENA Hedge Fund of the Evolvence Group in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). 

Extensive experience in policy, strategy, and business development. Skilled at top-level negotiation, driving global operations and business expansion opportunities through investments, partnerships and acquisitions. Creates, structures, finances, implements and leads major international projects. Knowledge of emerging markets.
