Physical Education is a necessary part of every child’s education as active, healthy kids perform better in all areas of the school day. “Moving to learn and learning to move” is more than just a play on words; it has meaningful relationship that justifies everyday physical education and promotes opportunities for movement within the classroom setting to prepare for, stimulate, and reinforce learning.

Instructor for Undergraduate PE courses including Teaching Physical Education, Foundations of Physical Education, Motor Learning, and Fitness for Life; Graduate instructor for: Pre-Primary Motor Development; M.A. in Teaching Physical Education - University of Northern Iowa (2010). Currently pursuing PhD in Physical Education Pedagogy from the University of Illinois.
