Go Team! ECM

In this Presentation we will discuss the importance of collaboration among leaders of a church and ECM. We will learn about value of collaboration with Pastors, Principals, and the BoE within the ECM setting. We will also discuss strategies to further build that bridge of community and collaboration.

I am blessed to have been teaching for 20 years. I have had the privilege of starting three early childhood programs during my career so far as well as working as the EC coordinator for the Lakeview public schools in MN. While living in MN, I served as the WELS EC District Coordinator for 7 years. I graduated from MLC in 2001 with Elementary and Early Childhood Education degrees, and I obtained my MN state license in both EC and Elementary in the spring of 2014 from SMSU, and I am currently licensed in WI as well. I love children of all ages, but I am passionate about quality Early Childhood Education, and the impact that it has on our youth and their future as successful learners. I have served as a mentor for 2 Emerging Leader Cohorts and I mentor Director Apprentices as well.

After working primarily in the preprimary world for 15 years, I began teaching K5 at St. Philip’s in Urban Milwaukee in 2017, where I continue to serve, now teaching K4 & K5 combined. I live in Milwaukee with my husband, Michael, a pastor, Dr. of Theology, and professor at WLC, and our three terrific daughters, Abigail, Noelle, and Sophia. When I have spare time, I enjoy traveling and being outdoors as well as visiting family.
