Raising Funds for the Program

POPCORN FUNDRAISER is in it's final days. All orders need to be turned in this Wednesday, February 21st. You still have time though to set up a student individual account by using the code 123126, CLICK HERE or students scan the QR code on Mrs. C's office window. Catalogs are available on Mrs. C's desk or people can order online.

SPAM MUSUBI MONDAYS: Volunteers needed to help out from 8:00-9:00 am on Monday mornings to help make spam musubi. You can volunteer one time, once a month, or every week! We are grateful to Kris Tokunaga, alumni parent, for heading up this committee. If you are able to help volunteer, please email Kris at:

GIFT CARDS (WE ARE PLACING AN ORDER THIS WEEK): If you would like to order any gift cards (physical ones in hand), please place your order at the Parent meeting on Thursday. Click HERE to view the list of cards.

GIFT CARDS (virtual cards): The holidays are always creeping up along with birthdays or other reasons to celebrate. You can shop anytime online with RaiseRight. This is an easy way to help support our program. RaiseRight is the same as gift cards, but virtual and easy to use. Go to the website, sign up, and select, “Join a Program”, then put in our group code: 9ED4DA7733861.

4-day weekends are great. We should have more of them. (Haha!) We are just a few days away from March and we will be busy! Please keep track of the calendar on the website. As soon as festival times, rehearsals, or other events are locked in, specific times will be listed. For details be sure to click on the calendar event and look for “more information”.

Speaking of festivals. All festivals are free and open to parents to attend. We have 3 ensembles in our program who are all going different places. Be sure to look at the calendar for which group is heading where. Luckily for color guard, the team attends as one group, so knowing where they are will be easy. What's different for Winter Guard tournaments is they are paid entries just like field season is for marching band tournaments.

Quick reminder to turn in your Popcorn orders on Wednesday and attend the Parent meeting on Thursday. Being involved as a parent by attending meetings is one of the best ways you can support your student. Plus it's nice to hear about all that is happening in the musical and artistic growth of the Sapphire Sound.

I hope you have a great week!

All In, Always.
