Parent Booster Meeting:  Thursday April 20 at 7:00 pm in the Theatre. We will be placing a Gift Card order right after the meeting. Please either order online or turn in this order form with payment by Thursday, April 20.  


All Bands perform at Symphony Hall - Saturday, April 22.  The performances are at the Jacobs Center Copley Symphony Hall located in downtown San Diego. We will perform for Guest Clinician, Dr. Tom Lee (retired director at UCLA). WE NEED PARENTS TO HELP CARPOOL ALL STUDENTS!


Call time for Concert Band/Symphonic Band to be at Mira Mesa HS is 12:00 pm. Performance at Symphony Hall is 2:00 pm. Students will travel by PARENT DRIVEN CARS/MINIVANS, so please email Mrs.C if you are able to transport students. Email at: jchristensen1@sandi.net


Wind Ensemble's call time to be at Mira Mesa HS is 2:30 pm. Performance time is 4:45 pm. We are looking to carpool all of the students of the Wind Ensemble to Symphony Hall. Please let Sarah Barrett know if you are able to transport students. Email at: mmimbpresident@gmail.com 


Students must arrive to MMHS in full concert attire (Gentlemen in white tuxedo shirts, black bow ties with tuxedo jacket/pants/, black socks and black shoes. Ladies in long black dresses, NOT sleeveless, with black tights, black dress shoes, and hair neatly pulled back with small jewelry.

Concert Band/Symphonic Band students will return to Mira Mes HS at approximately 4:30 pm. Wind Ensemble will return to Mira Mesa HS at approximately 7:00 pm.

  • San Diego Symphony Band Festival on Saturday, April 22: ALL Bands will perform at Symphony Hall - Guest Clinician, Dr. Tom Lee (retired director at UCLA).  Call time for Concert Band/Symphonic Band to be at Mira Mesa HS is 12:00 pm. Symphony Hall is a beautiful and professional venue. It will be a great afternoon/evening!
  • Disneyland Performing Arts Trip (with Orchestra and Theatre): Friday and Saturday, May 26 - 27, 2017. All band and color guard students are welcome to participate. The cost is estimated to be $250 (includes a 2-day Park Hopper Pass, transportation, and hotel stay). Please have your $50 deposit in now to reserve a spot. The next payment will be on Thursday, April 20 at the Parent Booster meeting for $100.
Fundraiser:
  • Chili's restaurant fundraiser is on Wednesday April 26 from 10:30 am - 10:30 pm. 15% of your purchase will come back to the program! You will need to go to the Chili's restaurant on Mira Mesa Blvd (close to Qualcomm and the 805).
