The 200+ members of the Sapphire Sound are proud to represent the community of Mira Mesa in San Diego, CA. We were honored to march in the 2016 and 2022 Tournament of Roses Parades. We welcome ALL students into our program. We are the Sapphire Sound, the Blue Team!

We will be holding auditions for next year's team on Wednesday, May 1 and Thursday, May 2 from 3:45 - 5:30 pm outside the music building. Spread the word and invite friends who want to be a part of the Sapphire Sound program! Click HERE for the flyer.

In the Director's Corner
I loved every part of the Spring concerts. Passion in performance and hard work was on full display at the formal Spring Concerts given by the entire Sapphire Sound band ensembles and individuals. The commitment to getting music to the highest level possible was the goal and the groups did not disappoint. I am proud of ALL of the students! If you were able to join us, thank you. If you were one of the many who helped set up, sell concessions, or took tickets, thank you. We have something special here in our program. Thank you for all of your support.
What's next? We will have our incoming to the program meeting on May 16th for new Band and Color Guard members and parents at 5:30 pm followed by an important Student and Parent meeting at 6:30 pm for everyone currently in the program. We will invite the incoming families to stay for this important meeting. We want all of the new students and families to know we are excited to greet them. Check out the calendar and be ready for a festive and busy end of the school year.
