IIntroduction

Masjid-e-Muhammadi, is the First AhleHadees Masjid started in Guntur city, in 2004.

Guntur city is dominated by Tableeghi Jamaat people, so having a Ahlehadees masjid in such a city is a Good news Al-Hamdulillah.

Brief History:

Masjid was started in 2004, as a library first with the name -"Islamic Guidance Center & Library", secretly, due to fear of attacks from the ignorant (Jahil) people of the deviated sect (Gumarah Friqa) which is popularly known as Tableeghi Jamaat.

First attack by Tableeghi Jamaat:

Unfortunately after 2 years i.e, Oct-8th-2006 the jahil Tableeghi Jamaat people came and completely demolished the Masjid, Nauzubillah. Which you can see in the below photos. In that attack they totally demolished the Masjid & Library and injured few people, by beating them severely, after wards the police came to stop, the demolition, by the time police arrived they demolished almost totally, at that time we were helpless.

Which was taken for Rs.8 Lakhs, since then (till now) started offering Salah peacefully, Al-Hamdulillah, with our sincere efforts of dawah of authentic - Quran and Sunnah, new people accepted Maslake AhleHadees and a good increase in Jamaat was seen.

Tableeghi Jamaat people had manhandled praying people and demolished our previous Masjid on Oct-2006. With the help of Allah - with constant programmes being conducted to gather people together, Alhamdulillah, we now see people attending Masjid for different programmes.

At the program of Sheikh Zafar-ul-Hassan madani which was conducted on the road infront of our Masjid. It is then Tableeghi Jamaat people interfered.

They asked us not to have it on road - We changed to a different open place.

They asked us not to have mic - we removed it.

Again they asked us not to have in open place also - We moved into Masjid.

But then again - Tableeghi Jamaat people attacked masjid in large groups with sticks and stones. We were seeing stones and sticks thrown inside masjid. We were hearing the slogans of hatred. Worried about the Sheikh we managed to send him back to Hyderabad. Everyone was confused not knowing what to do. Some people who came from different places for this programme were fearing about themselves. Some were fearing the future of our Dawah, Our Masjid.

It only brought tears to our eyes when two of our brothers stood firmly in between the mob saying - "Do whatever you want to us. We are not ready to move away from truth." It is only Allah who has saved them from getting any injuries. The Masjid was been locked since 25-11-2012. No prayers at all.

We Ask all of you, to pray for this Masjid, In Shaa Allah. But the Masjid was locked by police for about 1 month, in that one month many times masjid commitee was called to police station, for settlement of the dispute, after so many discussion finally the Collector of Guntur, gave permission for restarting the masjid, after a month-from 25th Nov, Al-Hamdulillah.

Reopening after attacks:

And after re-opeing of Masjid, the first step taken was installing a Loud (which was not there since 2006, due to the fear of attack again, after the 2006[1st] attack) for giving 5 times Azaan, Al-Hamdulillah.

Pay attention: Since 2006 there was no loud speaker, but after Nov 2012 - 2nd attack we got full permission for operating Masjid in a peacefull manner.

Masjid Expansion:

Second step was taken to widen the Masjid to accomodate more people, few repairs were done a new Wudu section was started, then in 2015 the adjacent plot of 300 yards, has been purchased, by paying Rs.44 Lakhs, Alhamdulillah.

Now our Masjid area is 500 yards. Later we have done some modifications interiorly to accommodate more people.

Now Alhamdhullilah every Jumah 200 to 250 people attends.

And every friday Jumah Khutbah is being video recorded & uploaded on Masjid YouTube Channel, and every sunday Duroos are being conducted peacefully.

Now more and more new people are coming, Al-Hamdulillah.

Masjid Reconstruction Project Planned:

- From 2015 until April 2022 the Masjid in in the form of an old house only.

- In 2020 we have planned to go for new Masjid construction and have got all the permissions and plans, approved.

- There after, Old Masjid was 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐝/𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 #𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐣𝐢𝐝𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭, and on 29th July 2022, Masjid Foundation Stone was laid to start off the New Masjid Reconstruction Project, Alhamdulilah.

Humble Donation Appeal:

So, now looking forward for your contributions for the construction of - The Long Struggled {Since 2006-16 Years} | One and Only AhleHadees Masjid in the city of Guntur, which is dominated by Tableeghi Jamaat brothers.

Note:

Due to post Covid-19 Pandemic losses - In the last one year, the cost of construction has gone up by 10-12 percent, owing to higher input cost due to supply-side constraints ~according Times Of India News.
