Dr Mudassir Khan is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the College of Science & Arts Tanumah, King Khalid University Abha Saudi Arabia. He has completed his PhD in Computer Science from Noida International University Gautam Budh Nagar (NIU) India. He has completed his Graduation and Masters from India. He has more than 13 years of Teaching Experience at the King Khalid University of Saudi Arabia. He has published more than 42 papers in International peer-reviewed journals (SCI/SCIE, Scopus, IGI) and conferences (Springer series, IEEE-Xplore). He is a Member of various technical/ professional societies such as IEEE, UACEE, Internet Society, IAENG and CSTA. His research interest includes Big data, IoT, deep learning, Computer Security, Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing. He has been granted one patent on a Deep Learning System for the Detection of COVID-19 Infections.

Dr Mudassir Khan's research interests are in the areas of Big Data, Big Data Analytics, IoT, Sentiment Analysis, and Cybersecurity and Forensics. He is keenly interested in developing analytical frameworks for integrated analysis of unstructured and structured data using data mining techniques for varied applications, including business intelligence, social network analysis, and biomedical informatics.

Dr. Mudassir Khan has over 42 research publications in various international journals (Scopus, WOS, SCI and SCIE) and conference proceedings (Springer Nature, Singapore, IEEE-Xplore) and one granted patent.  He is a senior member of IEEE, ACM, and IAENG. He is also a life member of ISTE, IETE, and ISCA. He is a program committee member of several reputed international conferences. He is also an editorial board member and reviewer of various journals of repute in his area of research.
