curriculum vitae
Minoru Kawamura is currently a senior research scientist at RIKEN Center for Emergent Matter Science. He received his Ph. D degree in physics from the University of Tokyo in 2001. After postdoctoral positions at NTT Basic Research Laboratories, RIKEN, and the University of Tokyo, he joined RIKEN in 2008 as a tenured researcher. He is an experimental physicist and specializes in the fields of semiconductor physics and low temperature physics. His research interests include quantum transport phenomena in nano-scale electronic devices, spin-related phenomena in semiconductors, and electronic states in topological insulators. He is skilled at micro-fabrication of solid state devices and materials, low-noise electron transport measurements at cryogenic temperatures, magnetic resonance measurements, and characterization of the observed phenomena.
