Charity

The Matthew John Whittall Lodge holds its primary charity event each December. During this event, lodge members volunteer their time to sell Christmas trees, with 100% of the proceeds supporting our Coats for Kids Program, which benefits Shrewsbury Schools.

Since 2009, this initiative has consistently raised funds to purchase winter coats for school-age children in need. We work closely with local school nurses to identify children in need and ensure they receive the correct coat size and type.

Thanks to the generosity of both lodge members and the community, we have been able to provide an average of over 40 coats per year. Any remaining proceeds are donated to a selected charity.
