I had some grand visions - well maybe just a smattering of ideas and a mass of hops I wanted to try and make a dent in.
Either way it ended up with a month full of brewing 4 different beers, one of which had a coffee variant.
In total 15 gallons were brewed in 5 different flavors, it was a Brew-tober to remember!
Carl Arms: a beer made each year (if possible) named for the man who plants the hops that go into it!
Chai Tea Ale: the idea was to make a beer resembling a Chai milk tea drink, not bad!
Reds Rye Winter: a winter ale inspired by Founder's Red's Rye Ale
Surly Bender plus Coffee: Northern Brewer sells a Surly Bender clone recipe and I took it - then added coffee to it to try and match Surly's other offering.
