We are a couple who always had cats as pets, regardless their origin or race.
The last domestic cats that were part of our family were Negrita, Pipocas (both unfortunately deceased) and Zorrinho that continues happy between us for about eight years.
Recently, we have adopted another kitten (4 months), our son and his wife picked it up fainted in the street and brought her home and they named her Isis.
But it was because of Pipocas, a white cat with similarities to the Norwegian Forest cats, that woke us up and led us to this magnificent race.
In 2007 we acquired our first Norwegian Forest cat, a red cat named Eastwood and slowly we begin to increase this new family.
In 2008, we visited the World Exhibition Felina in the Atlantic-Lisbon pavilion and we found the environment so fascinating, that a desire to participate in exhibitions started to grow. We begin our journey in this world at Batalha-Porto show, in the same year.
This was just another step towards breeding that began in 2009 with our 1st litter.
Over the years we have learned a lot, either through some trainings and with daily experience with our cats.
In February 2014, we achieved one of our main goals, just having a cat of our breed (curiously from our 1st litter) with the title of Supreme Champion SC Tyr De Mistland.
To all owners of our kittens and especially those who allowed us to have a friendship that goes beyond the follow up we always do, Many Thanks.
Isabel and Carlos
