FREEDOM TO READ

Read, read, read!

We are trying to build a classroom flag with all of the books that we read.

Remember, books must be on grade-level and have to be at least 100 pages.

Once you have read a book that fits these requirements, make sure to bring the book in and talk to the Freedom to Read leader.

-After you log in, complete the assigned lessons, then click on the practice TAB at the top. Searchfor the assigned topic and read the prompt, view the articles, websites and videos, then complete your outline (either 4-square-Fred, orInformational Outline.) Once that is complete, click Begin Writing and start typing your essay. (Remember, your essays need to be 5 paragraphsif opinion, and 3-4 if informational.)

BATTLE OF THE BOOKS

Here are the books for Battle of the Books this year!

If students sign up to be on a team, they are required to read their assigned books by the end of February in order to stay on their team & participate in the battles. After reading their assigned books, they should read even more of them off the list to be better prepared.
