Various blurbs on psionics sites, etc.

You Shall Not Pass: Magickal Staves

YSNP is a side project of mine.  We make and sell custom magickal gear using a combination of traditional and new energy working systems.  They are made with practical use in mind, and are enchanted with a wide variety of helpful augmentations to your practice.  Buy one, or seven.

Psionics Online

Psionics Online (www.psionicsonline.net) is a reincarnation of Psistudies with additional features and a more dedicated staff.  The site is starting to get older, and has a mixed crop of experienced workers, and newbies, it's worth a visit regardless of skill level, and perhaps even a prolonged stay.

Omnimancy

The Omnimancers (www.omnimancy.com) are an interesting group.  Many of their early concepts are similar to psionics, but the similarities are mainly aesthetic. What catches my interest, personally, the most is tech. The concept of tech is quite similar to the concept of constructs, however it streamlines the idea, then takes it up a few notches.Essentially it’s constructs that make no use of programming, instead relying on form to determine function.  Unfortunately the Omnimancers are reluctant to simply put everything forward, instead taking on individual students (much the same as other magickal orders have tended toward for centuries).Even so, they do have a forum (http://www.omnimancy.com/phpbb2/index.php) and an IRC channel (accessible only via the site) as well as several FAQs, allowing a dedicated snooper to glean significant information.

It is worth noting that I have some information on tech on this website, in case you are curious and unable to gain admittance to the Omnimancers' fold.

tLoK

This site (http://www.angelfire.com/mi3/tomekeeper/) is a really valuable starting place for many. In its heyday it was filled to the brim with powerful, experienced, and highly intelligent energy workers. It went through a rather cynical, if still a high-brow, dark age which ended and was replaced with total silence. The main site contains little in the way of detailed, explicit, information, however it is a very useful base to build from using both personal development and learning from other sources to do so. Also, the IRC chatroom that accompanies it (Dalnet, #occult_knowledge) usually has a few people in it, typically idling.

The Psion Guild

The Psion Guild www.psionguild.org is a community that has been looked at by most serious psions. The reactions to it are varied, oftentimes mixed and usually subjective. The group has merit, but has trouble accepting new, different ideas, and newbies with misconceptions and decade-old questions. Some of their ideas, like the psi genetics theory, are incomplete, and under-researched at this time.

Casa Umbrae

Casa Umbrae (CU for short) is a small community filled with wide-open minds. They are a forum (http://casaumbrae.proboards.com/) and chatroom (dalnet server, #CU) based community with an openness to magic, psionics, and other forms of energy work with little distinguishing between them. Not for those who sneeze with even the

slightest hint of fluff in the air, but if you're tolerant, visit them.

Forgotten Ancients

A splinter from the House of Ancients, Forgotten Ancients has one vital thing the House of Ancients never had, a definite lack of Ancient_Arcane.  While I have no problem with AA as a person, I have significant problems with his ideas about energy work, as do many others, FA drops the nuttiest of what AA taught and is a fairly open environment, focusing on community instead of power, or progress.  They have an IRC chat room on the Darkmyst Server (#forgottenancients).
