Artificial Energy-based Entities
By PreyorÂ
I spent the last month and a half of my life obsessed with the silver ring on my finger. this is the fruit of my labor. You see, in chaos magick they rely heavily on spirits known as servitors, these are essentially artificial energy based entities that act according to a predefined personality. sounds well and good but as with all things, i took nothing at face value. i researched the topic, and found it a sore disappointment, you see, all the chaos magick practitioner did was exude some aspect of his personality, or something from the deep mind as they call it. this is fine for your average John Q. Paranormal but im an individualist, crowds scare me, so i set about to unify servitors into a theory of somesort. what i came up with ought to win me an internet or two. i came to understand servitors as masses of intent, the intent was a personality, and the personality dictated its actions. this works, but puts alot of obvious flaws into man-made gods, like simplicity. This also illustrates the vapid one-dimensionalism of gods. I set out to remedy this by taking a page from biology, specificly neurons, though it ended up closer to DNA in form. essentially you add dimensions and facets to the entity by forming it from a predefined structure, and establishing safeguards that kept the energy from breaking down into a sludge of intent. well, being tired of writing the damned foreword, ill leave you and the article alone, but be gentle, your its first.
I share here the process by which i created my ring, while keeping my methods that make it so effective to myself. I call it, Seed Method.
What you will need:
1. an item, this should be carefully chosen for the purpose of the servitor. you wouldnt want a servitor designed to get you ladies to be in an armoir in your attic, you would want it with you at all times.
2. a clearly defined purpose
3. patience
4. a journal (optional, but it was a tremendous help to me.)
Step one: so you think you can create a demi-god?
This is a simple process, essentially, you define the core of your servitor, and let its experiences and natural energy currents define the rest, this is more effective than totally controlled construction because it cant err too far from your original intent, and it becomes interesting and it takes less energy and attention than molding every facet of its being.
I orginally came up with this technique as a simplified alternative to creating energy neurons to mimic sentience. This works because you make layers of intent, each layer adds a new dimension to the entity. information that is situational passes through these layers with ease, being altered by each and manifested into an action that is indicative of the program. .
To build this code, think of your servitor as a web page.you need to lay down lines of code as well as line breaks to keep the codes from running together. but unlike a web page, you define from the core out, not top down. I find it easiest to work in tiers, the first tier is the deep personality aspects, the second, the finer ones, and so far until i put in the commands. to demonstrate I'll outline an example servitor.
(^ stands for the code: let energy with external information but none of the integral code pass through this layer.
It keeps it from devolving into a mass of intent and is just a little insurance against entropy.)
Tier 1-
violent^
organized^
dispassionate^
obsessive^
Loyal to the rings wearer^
Tier 2-
Like the fear of others^
Very vengeful^
Remorseless^
Psychopathic^
Bound to the ring^
Tier 3-
Get me to the front of all lines^
Make the purpose of the line and those who attend it like me, and pleasurable for me^
Make people in front of me leave the line^
Tier 4-
GTFO- take those in front of me out of the line at all costs^
Cute cashier- make the cashier like me^
Make your servitors plans like this, and in the beginning, don't imagine it in the item, visualize it as a nebulous mass in your mind. only put it in the object when your satisfied with its stability. and that is an issue, if you put it in the ring before its incubated in your mind long enough, the code will fall apart. It does copy your personality in this stage, but that will become less distinguished as time goes on.
Step 2- I've made a demi-god, now what?
Now, you mount it to your object. this is equally important since you need a place for it to lie dormant, rest, pool excess energy, etc. i chose a ring as before mentioned. The process is simple, you find it in your mind, and define its boundaries, Int the case of the ring, when i had control over all of it, i pushed it gently into the ring, and pulsed a large amount of energy through it to activate the various codes. provided you put in a code that binds it to the object, it should click to it quite nicely.
Then seal it by imagining it locking and becoming manifest.
Step 3- Use
This is simple, use your codes, Give it commands. watch the results.
Step 4- Upkeep
To care for it, you must first acknowledge its imperfection as a constant, it is a swarming mass of energy that is subject to entropy, and while time gives it power, it can also devolve the core codes. so to fix this, simply create an energy signature, or mental image that contains the codes, and every so often, push this into the item.
To enhance the code after you've sealed it, simply unlock it and let it become abstract again, install the new code, and reseal.
Viola, you've got a servitor.
