Mind Guard Linux is a Linux based Operating System for personal computers. Other well-known operating systems are Microsoft Windows, Apple OSX, and MS-DOS. This distribution is a special build of Puppy Linux. Mind Guard Linux is a lightweight Linux distribution that focuses on ease of use and minimal memory footprint. The entire system can be run from RAM with generally taking up about 130 MB, allowing the boot medium to be removed after the operating system has started.
Applications such as MindGuard-X (Active Anti-Psychotronic MindControl Protection), Gnaural (Binaural-beat generator), SBaGen ( Binaural Brain Wave generator), TOR (Anonymous web browser), Keepass (Passsword Manager), RedNoteBook (Diary, Journal), AbiWord (word documents), Gnumeric (spreadsheets) VLC (multimedia player) and Bleachbit (System Cleaner), are included, along with a choice of lightweight applications can be downloaded via Quick Pet.

MindGuard is a program for Amiga and Linux computers that protects your mind by actively jamming and/or scrambling psychotronic mind-control signals and removing harmful engrammic pollutants from your brain. It also has the ability to scan for and decipher into English specific signals so you can see exactly Who wants to control you and what They are trying to make you think.
MindGuard works by leveraging your computer's aluminum-based innards to both detect and emit psychotronic energy using advanced quasi-quantum techniques. Once a mind-control signal is identified and analyzed, MindGuard can generate a specially tuned anti-signal that will jam the incoming signal. If MindGuard is unable to properly identify the signal, it will generate psychotronic white noise to ensure the signal's harmful message is scrambled.
MindGuard is fully configurable and can be customized for the individual user using biorhythmic and eponymologic settings. MindGuard also includes an advanced DePsych utility, allowing the removal of almost all deep-burned memetic patterns -- including even commercial jingles.

Recommended: 900MHz processor (P3 or AMD K7), 512MB RAM and either bootable cd access, usb boot or network boot access. A Hard Drive is not required.
Mind Guard Linux has been known to run on a P3 733MHz processor with 256MB RAM. MGL does not support old P2 or AMD K6 processors.
