The Chapel was built in fulfillment of a vow made by Eugenie Daussogne. Her son John was suffering from meningitis and as an answer to prayer, was healed. Her vow was to build the chapel in South Africa as a stigmatist, Llacay Fernand had received a vision from Our Lady Of All Graces requesting this.
A portrait of Our Lady was painted by Driaan van der Merwe according to the image appearing to Llacay Farnand.
Peace and tranquillity is to be found in the chapel and there have been several miraculous happenings.
The chapel is regularly used as a retreat centre, Holy Hours, Exposition and Benediction. Holy Mass is celebrated regularly.
Wedding ceremonies have also been a popular event.
