MATH LEAGUE
The Mathematics Program at Grenfell Campus hosts Math League competitions for high school and junior high students in the Corner Brook area. We are funded by AARMS (the Atlantic Association for Research in the Mathematical Sciences).
GRADE 6 MATH CHALLENGE
Every winter, the Mathematics Program at Grenfell Campus sends out a take-home mathematics challenge to grade 6 students all over western Newfoundland. The winning student gets a $50 gift card and a pizza party for their class!
CUBING
Grenfell hosted the first-ever Corner Brook Cubing Competition in June, 2024, and we held a World Cubing Association competition in March, 2025. We hope to host a WCA event on an annual basis!
TRICKS & TREATS
Grenfell's School of Science and the Environment partners with Let's Talk Science to put off this giant Halloween-themed science outreach event for kids in Corner Brook, usually every second October.
