Buddy's body and facial markings are so uniquely beautiful that he appears to have been painted in the womb with deep clay red patches on white and striking green eyes.

He is the firstborn and alpha of the brood. He is a natural born hunter, the more aggressive watchdog.

He was the first to bark and growl at an intruder.

His bravery was one of the first qualities we noticed in him, traveling far away from the house alone. Here, he stands on the left next to his brother, Reed.
