Task

Each member of your three person team who will use the Resources section to gather and record information for his/her assigned task of either researching Egypt, Mesopotamia or the 3 religions. Each group member will create and share his/her own mind map to record notes from the research.

Society & Culture: One team member will gather information about the society of ancient Egypt. A second will research the society of Mesopotamia. The Mesopotamian society started between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in what is present day Iraq. Egyptian civilization centered around the Nile River. Both civilizations will provide your researchers valuable information to answer questions about the role of business and technology in ancient society. As Ms. Rowling also wants information on how geography affects culture, your team will research how geography affected the cultures of ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. Your two society researchers will share their findings in a research report to be presented publicly to Ms. Rowling.

Religion: The third team member will gain further understanding about the three world religions that started in the Middle East. You will have the choice of either creating a video project, Venn diagram, a podcast or written report where you answer the questions listed in the Process section of this WebQuest. You are to add a section to your Mindmeister mind map where you story board the sections of your presentation. You will present your project publicly to Ms. Rowling.
