Mehedi Hasan Rizvi earned his PhD in Materials Science & Engineering for North Carolina State University in 2022. His research was focused on developing a bottom-up self-assembly technique to fabricate hybrid-Nano heterostructure platform for biosensing, drug delivery and nanorobotic applications. He developed a magnetic-plasmonic hybrid structure to control optical properties with magnetic field. He is currently working as a postdoctoral research scholar at NC State University and developing plasmonic oxide materials for NIR absorber and transparent electrode applications. In summer 2019, he worked as a guest researcher at Leibniz Institute For polymer Research Dresden, Germany, on multifunctional composite nanoparticles. He received his M.Sc. in Glass and Ceramic Engineering in 2015 and B.Sc. in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering in 2013 from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
